AJW Engines, as part of an ongoing General Terms Agreement with Russian airline JSC Donavia, is to provide engine shop visit management services for CFM56-5B engines. Engineers from AJW will manage all aspects of the shop visit. AJW Engines has also negotiated the contractual terms with the chosen MRO on behalf of JSC Donavia.


IAE has signed a V-Services agreement with Vistara of India to maintain its fleet of 26 V2500 engines.


IAE has signed an MoU with Juneyao Airlines for V2500 engines to power its order of 12 Airbus A321ceo aircraft. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in November 2015. The deal also includes a 15-year V-Services Fleet Hour Agreement (FHA).


MTU Maintenance and the Turkish carrier Atlasglobal Airlines, formally known as Atlasjet Airlines, have extended their cooperation for maintenance of V2500 engines with a new five-year agreement.


Rolls-Royce has been selected by Airbus to provide Trent 700 engines and long-term TotalCare engine service support worth $700 million for five new Beluga XL air transporter aircraft.


Rolls-Royce has signed the first widebody agreement for its new TotalCare Flex service with Cathay Pacific to support Trent 800 engines for 17 Boeing 777 aircraft. TotalCare Flex tailors services specifically for customers seeking economical management of mature engines.


StandardAero has signed a multi-year contract with Air KBZ, the largest private airline in Myanmar, to perform MRO services for Pratt & Whitney Canada PW127M turboprop engines on the airline’s fleet of ATR72-600 regional aircraft. The new contract covers services for both hot section inspections and overhauls with not to exceed guarantees for all the shop visits. All engines will be serviced at StandardAero’s Winnipeg, MB facility and the company has already inducted its first Air KBZ engine in that facility for repairs. The term of the contract includes MRO services through to December 2018.


StandardAero has signed a six-year contract with Mandarin Airlines of Taiwan to perform customised MRO services for APS2300 APUs on its fleet of EMBRAER 190 regional aircraft. The contract is StandardAero’s first APU programme in Taiwan and is expected to continue until 31 December 2021, when Mandarin anticipates the retirement of its existing fleet. The APUs will be serviced at StandardAero’s Maryville, TN, facility.


StandardAero has signed an exclusive, five-year agreement with Air Nostrum to provide MRO services for Honeywell RE220 APUs on its fleet of more than 20 Bombardier CRJ900/1000 regional aircraft. This new agreement, signed in July, serves as an extension of a previous two-year exclusive arrangement established between StandardAero and Air Nostrum in 2013. StandardAero is an OEM-approved RE220 APU Authorized Repair Facility and Air Nostrum’s RE220 APUs will be serviced at StandardAero’s Maryville, TN, facility. As part of the agreement, StandardAero will also provide Air Nostrum with additional benefits, including OEM technical support and documentation, full OEM warranty processing, full access to rental bank assets, component repair and LRU capabilities, as well as coordinated repair development with OEM authorisation.
