AFI KLM E&M has signed a component support contract with Safi Airways of Dubai covering three Airbus A320 Family aircraft. The agreement includes repairs and access to a local spares pool.

Airinmar has signed a three-year agreement with ExpressJet, a subsidiary of SkyWest, to manage component repairs for its fleet of more than 300 regional aircraft.

AJW Engines, as part of an ongoing General Terms Agreement with Russian airline JSC Donavia, is to provide engine shop visit management services for CFM56-5B engines. Engineers from AJW will manage all aspects of the shop visit. AJW Engines has also negotiated the contractual terms with the chosen MRO on behalf of JSC Donavia.

Ameco is developing Airbus A350 line maintenance capability, with training underway to support a long-term international customer. Ameco will also provide line maintenance for Boeing 787 and Airbus A380 aircraft for the airline.

Czech Airlines Technics has entered into an agreement with Chinese carrier Hainan Airlines to provide line maintenance for Airbus A330 and Boeing 767 aircraft servicing the new Beijing to Prague route.

Delta TechOps has signed an exclusive five-year component maintenance-per-flight-hour agreement with WestJet Airlines of Canada for four Boeing 767-300ER aircraft. The agreement will cover various aircraft component services for hydraulics, pneumatics, avionics, and fuel and oil systems on the aircraft. Delta TechOps will also provide integrated inventory support and main base kit coverage.

FL Technics has recently signed a new base maintenance agreement with Afriqiyah Airways in Libya for the carrier’s Airbus aircraft. The first Airbus A320 owned by Afriqiyah Airways is at the FL Technics hangar in Kaunas, Lithuania, with an A check and C checks planned, along with the repair, overhaul and exchange of internal components, the inspection and repair of aircraft structure and composite elements, NDT, seat repairs and defect rectification.

GAMECO has completed its first L8 check on a FedEx Boeing 767. It took 24.5 work hours, 11.5 hours ahead of the original planned 36.

GMF AeroAsia has completed a C check, AD/SB work and some component repairs on a Boeing 747-400 of Iraqi Airways ahead of haj operations. The company is also providing Airbus A330 and Pratt & Whitney PW4000 training to airline personnel. The two companies are currently discussing cooperation in the engineering service and line maintenance handling field. “We are exploring cooperation to fully handle Iraqi aircraft,” a GFM representative said.
