AFI KLM E&M and Privilege Style have signed a contract covering component support for a Boeing 777 which has joined the non-scheduled airline’s fleet, the first aircraft of this type to be operated by Privilege Style. Under the terms of the new contract, AFI KLM E&M will provide component support for the Spanish airline on request, anywhere in the world.

Aircraft Propeller Service has won a major contract from CommutAir, based in North Olmstead, OH, to provide MRO services on UTC Aerospace Systems propeller assemblies, including blades, hubs, actuators and other components for the airline’s Bombardier Dash 8 Q200 fleet. Additionally, APS will be a resource to CommutAir for components, drawing both on its in-house surplus components inventory and by accessing components through its partner network. The contract, which APS won in a competitive bid, runs for three years with an option for a further two.

AJW Aviation and AJW Leasing have been chosen by Modern Logistics to provide full power-by-the-hour services for its Boeing 737-400 freighters and augment dispatch reliability as the fleet expands to 15 aircraft by 2017.

AJW Aviation and Liebherr-Aerospace have signed a global support and services agreement covering a repair-by-the-hour scheme which covers up to 304 aircraft by the year 2020. The agreement includes, among others, the Airbus single aisle fleet of easyJet. The support services will be carried out by Liebherr-Aerospace’s service stations in Lindenberg, Germany, Toulouse, France, and Saline, MI. The contract also covers repair components and associated services to other operators supported by AJW Aviation.

AJW Aviation has been chosen by French ACMI, regular flight and charter airline Air Méditerranée, to provide full power-by-the-hour services for seven Airbus A321 aircraft. Four of the aircraft operate out of Paris-CDG, two in the Middle East and one in Moldova. In support of the multi-year agreement, AJW will also locate extensive main base kit in Dubai, Chisinau (Moldova) and Paris-CDG.

AJW Group has awarded Rockwell Collins a five-year Fixed Price Repair agreement to maintain Rockwell Collins’ equipment installed on AJW customers’ fleets. Aircraft covered include the Airbus A320 and the Boeing 737, 747 and 767.

AJW Group is to help TECHNIC ONE, the Russian repair and spare components business, set up a spare parts pool for Sukhoi Super Jet (SSJ) and MS-21 aircraft, a component repair service, and a spare parts centre for CFM56 engines. The new technical/maintenance facility will be established in the special economic zone in Ulyanovsk Vostochny, Russia.

ATR has signed an exclusive six-year Global Maintenance Agreement with Flybe for five ATR 72-600 aircraft to be operated for Scandinavian Airlines (SAS). The first aircraft entered service last month with the rest to be incorporated between 2016 and 2017. ATR will provide Flybe with comprehensive technical support for its aircraft, including complete management of spare parts inventory on lease at the airline’s premises in Stockholm, propellers maintenance and availability, repair and overhaul of LRUs (Line Replaceable Units), including landing gear and fuel nozzles. The airline will benefit from quick access to a comprehensive pool supply offering up-front exchanges and timely spares availability. ATR will ensure continued on-time delivery of all spare parts directly to Flybe’s main base.

Boeing has announced a 10-year Component Services agreement with United Airlines for 787 Dreamliner rotable parts. The agreement marks the third Component Services contract signed with a major commercial airline since 1 June 2015. Boeing announced new partnerships with Oman Air in July and British Airways in August. United Airlines has currently taken delivery of 22 787s.

Delta TechOps has extended its relationship with Atlas Air to provide exclusive component support on a Maintenance per Flight Hour programme through 2018. As Atlas Air’s maintenance support partner, Delta TechOps will provide component Repair and Return services for the company’s fleet of Boeing 767-300s and 767-200s, including fuel and oil, hydraulics, pneumatics, avionics and engine components.
