328 Support Services has signed a follow on five-year maintenance contract with Private Wings of Manching, Germany, for its fleet of eight Dornier 328-100 turboprops and two 328 Jets.


Ameco Beijing will deliver the fourth Boeing 747 of ACT Airlines this year in December after a C check.


ENGINEERING Holding in Russia has substantially broadened its cooperation with Aeroflot during 2015 under a four-year contract that also covers Aeroflot’s daughter companies Donavia, Rossiya and Orenair. Most of the work is C checks for Aeroflot Airbus A320 and Boeing 737NG aircraft, but it also includes 12-year checks which were previously carried out abroad. By the end of 2015, ENGINEERING Holding will have completed five C checks, including three 12-year checks for Aeroflot, with a fourth heavy check currently being planned. Looking ahead, the plan for 2016 includes further heavy checks in addition to other maintenance tasks and aircraft painting.


GMF Aeroasia has signed agreements with a number of Iranian airlines. It signed a one-year contract with Zagros Air to perform base maintenance, engine maintenance and component maintenance for Airbus A320 and McDonnell Douglas MD-82 aircraft. It also signed a McDonnell Douglas MD-80 contract with Iran Air Tour, which plans to buy an Airbus A320, which will also be looked after by GMF. Iran Aseman Airlines and Meraj Air have also signed contracts. In addition, KAM Air of Afghanistan will fly its Airbus A320, Boeing 737-800 and two MD-80s to GMF in 2016, as will Services Air of Nigeria.


Joramco and flydubai have signed a long-term contract to provide the Dubai-based carrier with airframe maintenance solutions for its fleet of 50 Next-Generation Boeing 737-800 aircraft that are due for scheduled maintenance services up until December 2017. These include C checks, entry into service and lease handbacks for flydubai’s entire fleet. This agreement comes as an extension of the already existing relationship that began in 2013.


Precision Aircraft Solutions has redelivered four aircraft in the space of one week from four MRO locations around the world to three clients. The four redeliveries were MSN 29380 for DHL from Flightstar in Jacksonville, FL; MSN 60757 for SF Airlines from Air China Technics in Chengdu, China; MSN 25397 for Vx Capital Partners from HAECO Americas in Greensboro, NC; and MSN 26278 for SF Airlines from Aeroturbine in Goodyear, AZ.
