Liebherr-Aerospace has been selected by TAME of Ecuador to overhaul the landing gear systems of their fleet of Embraer E190 aircraft. The work is currently being performed at Liebherr Aerospace Saline in Saline, MI. As the OEM and system integrator of the Embraer E190 landing gear system, the company provided TAME with advance exchange gear sets. The airline’s E190s will be flying with these until the subsequent overhaul is due. The systems being serviced at Saline will be rotated into Liebherr’s Global Access Pool and will be used in the future to support customers that place orders for overhauls with Liebherr.
