Aeronautical Engineers, Inc (AEI) has delivered the first Boeing 737-400SF 11 pallet position freighter to Swiftair in Madrid, Spain. This delivery is the first of an eight freighter conversion order. The aircraft, built in 1991 (msn 24438), is a high gross weight aircraft and was converted at Commercial Jet’s Miami facility. After a successful test flight, the aircraft was painted at Commercial Jet’s dedicated paint facility in Dothan, AL. The second conversion is also now complete and currently undergoing painting at Commercial Jet in Dothan.

Aeronautical Engineers, Inc (AEI) has received an order for another Boeing 737-400SF 11 pallet position freighter from Sofia, for Bulgaria-based Cargoair. The aircraft, built in 1990 (msn 24691), is a high gross weight aircraft with only 30,000 cycles and is undergoing modification at Commercial Jet’s Miami facility. Cargoair currently operates three AEI converted 737-300SF freighters and two AEI converted 737-400SF freighters.

Ameco Beijing has completed four out of six C checks on Boeing 767s from Austrian Airlines.

Aviation Technical Services will carry out C checks throughout 2015 on Hawaiian Airlines’ Boeing 767s.

C&L Aviation Services has received its first Bombardier CRJ 700 for heavy checks, modifications and painting in its hangar in Bangor, ME. Several more CRJ 700s are queued for service at C&L after the current aircraft leaves the hangar.

PEMCO World Air Services has redelivered a third Boeing 737-300F (msn 27518) to CDI Cargo Airlines of China. All three conversions have been performed at STAECO’s Jinan Shandong facility.
