Ameco Beijing has signed a power-by-the-hour (PBH) contract with Shanghai Airlines, a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Eastern Airlines, to provide overhaul, repair and other value-added services on 14 Pratt & Whitney PW4000 engines from six Boeing 767s. This is the first time Ameco has provided engine services under a PBH model.

GE Aviation has signed a 12-year OnPoint solution agreement with Thai Airways International for the MRO of the airline’s GE90-115B engines that power its 14 Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.

SR Technics has signed a five-year contract with Royal Jet of Abu Dhabi to overhaul their CFM56-7B engines powering six Boeing Business Jet (737-700 IGW) aircraft. The work on the engines began in February at SR Technics’ facilities in Zurich.
