Aeronautical Engineers, Inc (AEI) has delivered its 50th Boeing 737-400SF 11 pallet position freighter conversion. The high gross weight aircraft (msn 26437), built in 1992, was delivered to Kalitta Charters based in Ypsilanti, Michigan. The aircraft was converted at Commercial Jet’s Dothan, Alabama facility. This represents an important milestone in AEI’s freighter conversion history and orders continue to remain strong as AEI has another 15 737-400SF freighters on order for this year.

AFI KLM E&M and Aerolíneas Argentinas have decided to renew an Airbus A340 component support contract and extend it to the A330s that were recently added to its fleet. The long-term agreement covers a total of 15 aircraft, and includes pool access and component repairs.

AFI KLM E&M and National Airlines have renewed their three-year engine support services partnership for CF6-80C2 power plants equipping two Boeing 747-400BCF aircraft. In addition to carrying out shop visits, the services provided will also include the provision of spare engines during maintenance operations.

Air New Zealand and AJW Group have signed a new agreement which will extend the component maintenance and repair services provided at Air New Zealand’s Auckland Engineering and Maintenance base. Under the agreement, Air New Zealand will now carry out some component maintenance on Tigerair Australia’s Airbus A320 fleet on behalf of AJW Group.

AJW Aviation has been selected by Cameroon Airlines Corporation (Camair-Co) to provide power-by-the-hour ATA Chapter component support for its fleet of one Boeing 767-300 and two 737-700s.

AJW Aviation has signed a new strategic repair partnership with NORDAM Singapore to support Tigerair Australia’s fleet of Airbus A320 aircraft via provision of some major components, such as nacelles, thrust reversers and cowls on a pool basis during repair and overhaul. AJW already delivers complete inventory technical management (ITM) for the airline across a variety of areas, including components, major assemblies, wheels and brakes, APUs, thrust reversers and consumables, as well as spares at hubs in the region.

Barfield has signed a long-term PBH support contract with SATENA of Colombia which will cover their fleet of ATR 42-500/-600 and ATR 72-500 aircraft. The services provided to the airline include component and engineering support, pool access and Main Base inventory to cover their ATR fleet.

Delta TechOps has extended an APU maintenance agreement with Sun Country Airlines for an additional five-year term. As Sun Country Airlines’ exclusive APU partner, Delta TechOps will support GTCP 131-9B APUs for Sun Country’s fleet of 21 Boeing 737 aircraft. The agreement extends into 2019.

Discovery Air Technical Services (DATS) has signed a three-year exclusive agreement with LIAT of Antigua for its ATR 42/72 fleet. The first aircraft is set to arrive at the Jean Lesage International Airport in Quebec City in May 2015. The company has also been awarded a heavy maintenance contract by Morningstar Air Express, of Edmonton Alberta, for one ATR 72-202 aircraft during the summer of 2015 and by a major US regional airline for nine Embraer ERJ 135/145 regional jets.
