Honeywell will provide products and handle maintenance requirements for the Honeywell 131-9A APU for IndiGo’s new Airbus A320neo fleet.

Lufthansa Technik and Aerolineas Argentinas have signed an exclusive five-year agreement for MRO services for the fleet of CFM56-5C engines powering seven Airbus A340-300 aircraft. This includes the set-up of a joint shopvisit programme, under which, depending on workscopes, the airline will tear the engines down into modules in Buenos Aires, with the repairs then carried out at Lufthansa Technik’s facilities in Hamburg. Lufthansa Technik will also oversee the setting up of a new engine shop, including assisting with the layout, equipment and the creation of the basic infrastructure and establishment of processes. It will also support Aerolineas Argentinas with fundamental staff training for the new engine types.

Rolls-Royce has been selected by Middle East Airlines to supply Trent 700 engines and TotalCare service support for an additional Airbus A330 aircraft.

StandardAero has signed a two-year MRO services agreement to support interCaribbean Airways, based in the Turks and Caicos Islands, and its fleet of Embraer EMB-120 Brasilia and Beech 99 turboprop-powered aircraft. The agreement covers PW118 and PT6 aircraft engines, as well as Honeywell 36-150AA APUs. All repairs will be conducted at StandardAero’s facilities in Winnipeg, Canada and Maryville, TN.
