Aeronautical Engineers Inc (AEI) has successfully delivered the third Boeing 737-400SF 11 pallet position to Cargoair, based out of Sofia, Bulgaria. The aircraft, built in 1990 (MSN 24691), has a high gross weight and only 30,000 cycles. Cargoair will operate the aircraft under a long-term contract for European integrator, DHL. Cargoair currently operates a total of six AEI converted freighters (three 737-300SF and three 737-400SF). The aircraft was modified by Commercial Jet in Miami, FL.


C&L Aviation in Bangor, ME, has recently handed over Saab 340s to two customers. The first, a Saab 340A freighter, was delivered to Easy Fly Express of Bangladesh following heavy maintenance and a new paint scheme. The second, a Saab 340B, underwent heavy maintenance, interior refurbishment and new paint for Air Century in the Dominican Republic, where it will be used for charter operations throughout the Caribbean. C&L will provide long-term logistics and parts support to both operators.


Evergreen Aviation Technologies (EGAT) and Nippon Cargo Airlines (NCA) have signed a new five-year Boeing 747-400F airframe heavy maintenance agreement.


PEMCO World Air Services has just announced the redelivery of a Boeing 737-300QC (MSN 28054) during the first quarter of 2015. The 1998 vintage aircraft was converted at PEMCO’s Tampa facility, for Automatic, a US-based aircraft leasing company and is operated by Mistral Air based in Italy. The latest Quick Change conversion adds to the airline’s growing fleet used to support postal and on-demand charter operations.


PEMCO World Air Services has redelivered the first of two aircraft to AerCaribe of Colombia. The two-conversion agreement was secured early in the first quarter of 2015 with the first aircraft redelivered in May. The second aircraft is planned for induction later this year. The Boeing 737-400F (MSN 24431), converted at PEMCO’s Tampa facility, will be the first of its kind for the AerCaribe fleet.


TAP Maintenance & Engineering has signed an agreement with Brussels Airlines for four Airbus A330 heavy maintenance checks in Lisbon from October 2015 to March 2016.
