MTU Maintenance has signed a five-year engine maintenance contract with Kenya Airways for CF34-10E6 engines used on the airline’s 15 EMBRAER 190 aircraft. It is one of two contractors for these services.

SR Technics has been awarded a ten-year exclusive power by the hour agreement from Spanish carrier Volotea to provide engine MRO services for the airline’s CFM56-5B fleet, as well as in-service and on-wing support. The new agreement is part of the carrier’s re-fleeting plans. Volotea is currently flying a growing fleet of Airbus A319 with CFM56-5B engines, and is planning to rapidly expand this in the coming years.

StandardAero has won an exclusive five-year contract with Komiaviatrans Airlines to provide Rolls-Royce AE 3007 engine MRO services for its fleet of six Embraer ERJ 145 regional aircraft. StandardAero will repair Komiavaitrans’ engines at the company’s MRO facility in Maryville, TN.
