AAR has entered into a long-term contract with Air New Zealand to provide nose-to-tail, cost-per-flight-hour rotable inventory support covering 740 parts for the airline’s 15 Boeing 777 aircraft. Under reciprocal terms of the agreement, Air New Zealand will become AAR’s exclusive component repair provider for selected parts in the Asia-Pacific region and preferred supplier for selected parts worldwide.

AFI KLM E&M and Air Austral of Réunion have signed a total care agreement for the carrier’s Boeing 777s. The services covered by the contract include airframe/engineering maintenance, plus engine, APU and component services, together with additional support services for phase out/phase in operations. Component services support will be carried out under the joint AFI KLM E&M and Boeing 777 CSP.

AFI KLM E&M and Ethiopian Airlines have signed a long-term component services contract covering a fleet of 28 Boeing Next-Generation 737 aircraft. The contract comes under the Component Services Program (CSP) operated jointly by AFI KLM E&M and Boeing for 737 component support, including part repairs and access to the 737 spares pool.

Liebherr-Aerospace and Tianjin Airlines of China have signed an Embraer E190 landing gear overhaul contract. Work will start in early 2017 to carry out all overhaul activities of the nose and main landing gear systems at the Liebherr facility in Lindenberg, Germany.

Magnetic MRO has recently signed a long-term agreement with Air Astana of Kazakhstan to support the operator’s escape slide repair and overhaul requirements.

Revima has signed long-term maintenance agreements with Cathay Pacific Airways for the support of landing gears installed on the airline’s Boeing 777-300 aircraft and on Airbus A320/321 aircraft operated by its subsidiary Dragonair, which will soon be rebranded as Cathay Dragon. This includes repair and maintenance services of landing gears and related components, an exchange solution and engineering and on-site support.
