GMF Engine Maintenance has overhauled two GTCP131-9A APUs for Indonesian low-cost carrier Citilink. The company has carried out development capability and product quality improvement through improved supply chain management, as well as test cell and logistic improvements. It will also add a spare GTCP131-9A as a back-up for customers.
KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and Xiamen Airlines have signed an MoU for the exclusive, long-term maintenance of Xiamen Airlines’ GEnx General Electric engines for six Boeing 787-8 aircraft that are currently on order. The deal was part of a strategic cooperation agreement between the two airlines and the work will be carried out by AFI KLM E&M in Amsterdam.
Revima APU has signed a 10-year support agreement with Etihad Airways for the repair and health monitoring of PW980 APUs installed on the airline’s Airbus A380 aircraft. Through this long-term agreement, Revima APU will provide power-by-the-hour repair and maintenance services for APUs and associated Line Replaceable Units (LRUs). The contract also includes the repair of field-removed LRUs, as well as APU health monitoring services.
