Direct Maintenance has started to provide comprehensive line maintenance support to Vueling Airlines at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. The Spanish low cost operator has three A320 Family aircraft in need of line maintenance support every night.

HAITEC Aircraft Maintenance will open a line maintenance station at Nuremberg Airport at the beginning of November 2016. SunExpress Deutschland is the first customer and HAITEC will carry out all line maintenance activities for the Boeing 737NG fleet, as well as provide AOG support.

Magnetic MRO has completed the launch of five new line maintenance outstations at Copenhagen, Gällivare (Sweden), Milan-Malpensa, Oulu (Finland) and Vilnius (Lithuania).

Monarch Aircraft Engineering Limited (MAEL) has signed an agreement with Norwegian to provide line maintenance services to their Boeing 737NG operation at Birmingham and Manchester Airports. The agreement is an extension to the support that MAEL’s engineering teams currently provide to the low-cost airline’s Boeing 737NG operation at London-Gatwick.

SR Technics will extend its maintenance capabilities for the new Boeing 787 at its Line Maintenance station in Geneva, Switzerland. The new service includes on-call maintenance, transit checks, daily and weekly checks, cabin inspections and defect rectification. Geneva is the second line station after Zurich to introduce the 787 capability within the SR Technics network.
