AeroVision International has signed a five-year, cost-per-hour parts agreement with bmi regional to support 20 EmbraerERJ 135/145 aircraft from its on-site consignment inventory throughout its network, as well as from material located at AeroVision’s site at London-Heathrow and the US headquarters’ warehouses.


AFI KLM E&M and LOT Polish Airlines have signed a long-term component support agreement for its future fleet of six Boeing 737 MAX, with delivery scheduled between November 2017 and May 2019. The contract also includes four 737NGs that are already in service. AFI KLM E&M will take charge of MRO support for components, providing access to its spares pool and the creation of a Main Base Kit at LOT’s hub in Warsaw, Poland. Maintenance operations will be carried out by AFI KLM E&M and Boeing partner teams under their joint 737 Component Support Program.


AFI KLM E&M and Sichuan Airlines have signed a component support agreement for four Airbus A350 aircraft. The contract covers a broad spectrum of services, from repairs to organising training sessions, plus part availability services (access to AFI KLM E&M’s A350 spares pool), the deployment of a Main Base Kit and a forward pool located in Chengdu, China.


AJW Group has announced the expansion of its power-by-the-hour (PBH) contract with Canadian carrier Air Transat. AJW Group originally signed a long-term PBH contract with Air Transat in 2013 to provide support for the airline’s Airbus A330 aircraft, and the expanded contract will now support their increased Airbus A330 fleet, which has grown by 33% since the start of the contract.


AJW Technique has extended its slide and inflatable maintenance contract with Air Canada. The long-term extension was awarded to AJW as a result of implementing several successful innovative supply chain management programmes for Air Canada, including asset management and leasing, inventory solutions and fulfilment models. The new contract has been expanded to include the majority of the aircraft types for the mainline Air Canada fleet as well as Air Canada Rouge and Sky Regional. These include Airbus, Boeing and Embraer.


GA Telesis has signed a three-year TrueChoice Material Agreement with GE Aviationfor serviceable OEM parts and advanced repairs and technology upgrades for the CF6-80C2 engines.


Lufthansa Technik and SriLankan Airlines have extended their existing Airbus A320 component support contract. The expanded Total Component Support agreement comprises all aircraft of SriLankan Airlines’ growing A320 fleet, including nine A320 and six A320neo aircraft. Lufthansa Technik will take care of all aspects relating to daily component supply for SriLankan Airlines. The components will be repaired and overhauled at Lufthansa Technik’s global network of repair facilities. Pooling will be provided through Hong Kong and Singapore, where Lufthansa Technik operates two warehouses for the Asia-Pacific region.


Sabena technics and Air Botswana have extended a component support contract for four ATR 42-500/72-500 aircraft by three years. The agreement covers component repair and overhaul, as well as pool access.


Sabena technics will provide Air Europa, the Spanish airline, with comprehensive access to a rotable components pool; test, repair, overhaul and/or modification of rotable components; logistics services; and consignment stock for the fleet of ATR 72-500s operated by its subsidiary, Air Europa Express.


Spairliners and Tbilisi-based Georgian Airways have signed a multi-year contract for component maintenance services for two Embraer E190 aircraft. The contract comprises pool access in Munich and Paris and repair services by Spairliners’ parent companies Lufthansa Technik and AFI KLM E&M.
