AFI KLM E&M and Beijing General Aviation Company (BGAC) create AFI KLM E&M-BGAC Line Maintenance, an aircraft maintenance joint venture which is benefiting from the new open policy of Chinese government to welcome and promote foreign initiatives to partner with Chinese companies. The joint venture is scheduled to begin operations on 1 April, with the brand name Beijing Line Maintenance International. It will provide line maintenance services for aircraft in the Air France KLM fleet at Beijing Capital International Airport before extending its service offering to customer airlines operating in China.

FEAM Maintenance and Engineering has been confirmed as the first US-based line maintenance provider of Boeing’s GoldCare aftermarket services. As part of a multi-year deal, the strategic partnership will see Miami-headquartered FEAM provide full line maintenance support on new Boeing 737 MAX aircraft under its EASA Part-145 authorisation.

 

FEAM joins a number of global GoldCare specialists already providing the aftermarket support services, including UK providers Monarch Aircraft Engineering and British Airways Engineering and Singapore-based SIA Engineering Company.

FL Technics has opened a new line maintenance station at Batumi International Airport in Georgia to serve Airbus A320 and Boeing 737NG aircraft. The first customer is Turkish Airlines

Monarch Aircraft Engineering Limited (MAEL) will be opening new line stations at Edinburgh and Nice and expanding its existing line station at Malaga to support Boeing GoldCare customers. 

 

Working as a partner of the Boeing GoldCare programme, the UK-based MRO will begin operations from summer 2017, supporting the Boeing 737 MAX at Edinburgh and the Boeing 787 at Nice and Malaga.
