AFI KLM E&M has announced that it just received its first CFM56-7 engine from GOL Linhas Aéreas Inteligentes of Brazil for overhaul in Amsterdam in January. This follows an agreement signed in 2016.

CTS Engines has been awarded a five-year contract for the overhaul of CF6-80C2 engines for Asiana Airlines

Lufthansa Technik and Air Canada have extended an existing engine services agreement for a further eight years until 2026. The contract covers the CFM56-5A and CFM56-5B engines powering Air Canada’s current fleet of Airbus A320 Family aircraft has been extended. From 2017 to 2026, all work will be carried out at Lufthansa Technik’s facilities in Montreal and Hamburg.

Lufthansa Technik and the South Korean carrier Asiana Airlines have signed a four-year contract which comes into effect in 2018 covers the repair and overhaul of Asiana’s GE Aviation CF6-80 engines powering the airline’s Boeing 747 and 767 fleets.

Precision Aircraft Solutions has completed its fourth Boeing 757-200PCF passenger-to-freighter conversion for China Postal Airlines. The aircraft (MSN 25888) was converted at Ameco in Chengdu, China.

Rolls-Royce has won a $300 million order from Lion Group for Rolls-Royce Trent 700 engines to power three new Airbus A330 aircraft, supported by a TotalCare support agreement. The Lion Group already operates three of the aircraft, all powered by the Trent 700 engine.
