AFI KLM E&M and Malaysia Airlines have extended a long-running Boeing 737-800 component support contract. The initial agreement was intended to cover 35 aircraft, which has now increased to 54 aircraft and a wider range of part numbers. The component support solutions supplied to Malaysia Airlines are implemented via the Component Services Program (CSP) operated jointly by AFI KLM E&M and Boeing. Services include component repair and access to the local and main AFI KLM E&M spares pools located respectively in Kuala Lumpur and Amsterdam.


AJW has signed a multi-year, full power-by-hour support contract with Modern Logistics of Brazil as it expands its fleet to 15 Boeing 737-400 freighters.


Czech Airlines Technics (CSAT) has won a contract to provide landing gear maintenance, component maintenance and lease of spare landing gear sets for Boeing 737NG to the Air France Group, to Transavia Airlines and Transavia France. During the nine-year term of the agreement, CSAT will perform the complete overhaul of at least 96 737-700 and 737-800 landing gear sets.


CSAT uses three production lines for performing landing gear maintenance with an average yearly capacity of 30 landing gear overhauls and a turnaround time of 28 calendar days. It has purchased a fourth spare landing gear set and now has three sets for 737NG and one for 737 Classic.


Liebherr-Aerospace and Turkish Technic have recently renewed their repair and services agreement for the Airbus fleet of A320/A330/A340 maintained by Turkish Technic. The contract covers the complete Airbus fleet of Turkish Airlines and third parties maintained by Turkish Technic.


The support services will be performed by Liebherr-Aerospace’s service stations in Lindenberg, Germany (OEM and centre of excellence for landing gear and flight control systems) and in Toulouse, France (OEM and centre of excellence for air management systems).


Liebherr-Aerospace recently signed a contract with KLM Cityhopper covering the overhaul of the main and nose landing gear system of 17 of the 30 Embraer E190 aircraft that are operated by the airline. An option for the remaining 13 E190 aircraft is also part of the contract. The first overhaul will be performed at Liebherr-Aerospace’s facility in Lindenberg, Germany, in September 2017.


OEMServices has signed a 15-year integrated component support contract with Asiana Airlines for its Airbus A350-900 fleet, including repair services, pool access and 24/7 component support from its main A350 regional pool, based

at Singapore’s Changi Airport.
