ENGINEERING Holding has signed an agreement with Russian start-up airline Azimut for Sukhoi Superjet 100 maintenance. The carrier is scheduled to launch operations in September, and the maintenance will be carried out at Rostov-on-Don, where ENGINEERING Holding’s subsidiary S7 ENGINEERING opened a dedicated SSJ100 line station in July of this year. 

 

Until recently, S7 ENGINEERING provided SSJ100 maintenance only at its facilities at Moscow Domodedovo Airport and at Mineralnye Vody. However, the agreement with Azimut also includes the transfer of S7 ENGINEERING experience to the new carrier’s newly created in-house maintenance department.

Monarch Aircraft Engineering Limited (MAEL) has signed an Airbus A330 base maintenance agreement with Evelop Airlines of Spain. The work will be carried out at MAEL’s facility at Birmingham Airport.

Täby Air Maintenance (TAM) has signed a contract with SprintAir of Poland for major checks on three Saab 340 freighters. The first aircraft was due to arrive at TAM’s main overhaul facility at Örebro Airport in mid-August, where the other aircraft will also arrive during the autumn.
