International Aero Engines (IAE) and Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) have announced a 10-year general terms agreement for maintenance of V2500 engines. The first V2500 turbofan engine which powers the Airbus A320 family has already arrived at IAI Bedek, Engine Division.

MTU Maintenance Canada, under an agreement between Pratt & Whitney, IAE and MTU Aero Engines, has introduced IAE V2500-A5 maintenance, repair and overhaul capabilities and is fully certified by Transport Canada. The first engine is already at the facility for overhaul.

Pratt & Whitney has signed a 12-year EngineWise Fleet Management Program agreement with S7 Airlines covering a fleet of 30 Airbus A320neo and A321neo family of aircraft, powered by PurePower PW1100G-JM engines.

StandardAero has signed two multi-year APU MRO contracts to support Yamal Airlines, a Russia-based regional operator. The contracts include a three-year agreement covering Honeywell GTCP36-150RJ APUs for 10 Bombardier CRJ200LR aircraft and a five-year agreement supporting Honeywell RE220 APUs for 10 Sukhoi Superjet aircraft, which is expected to grow to 16 aircraft by early next year.
