AFI KLM E&M and partner Boeing have announced that Aeromexico has ordered the 737 Component Services Program (CSP) to support the carrier’s entire fleet of 737 MAX aircraft. The agreement will provide Aeromexico with power-by-the-hour component repairs, access to a dedicated spares pool, support and logistic services through AFI KLM E&M’s facilities in Miami and Amsterdam, and a Main Base Kit at the airline’s hub in Mexico City. In February, Boeing delivered the first 737 MAX to Aeromexico, which has ordered a total of 60 of the aircraft.

Boeing has signed an agreement with Aeromexico to use Boeing’s landing gear exchange program for 17 aircraft in its 787 fleet, as well as AOG access. Aeromexico will also start using AerData’s Engine Fleet Planning and Costing tool for its Boeing fleet, which helps customers optimise engine maintenance planning, engine spares  availability and budgets.

The deal will streamline Belavia’s fleet support and improve aircraft availability. In a multi-year deal, Embraer’s component support solution is being tailored to Belavia’s specific needs, offering customised exchange plus repair coverage for a wider scope of components, as well as access to a range of special tooling and ground support equipment needed for heavy maintenance checks, allowing Belavia to move those checks ‘in-house’. The program will support Belavia’s existing fleet of two E175s and two E195s. The airline took delivery of another E175 aircraft last month and will receive another two E195s further this year.
