Lufthansa Technik has signed a ten-year exclusive time and material agreement with Asiana Airlines and an exclusive time and material contract with Vietnam Airlines for HGT1700 APUs on 30 and 14 Airbus A350-900s respectively. All repairs will be performed in Hamburg.

MTU Maintenance has signed a three-year contract with Jazeera Airways of Kuwait for the maintenance repair and overhaul of CFM56-5B engines that power the airline’s fleet of Airbus A320 aircraft.

SR Technics has signed a two-year engine agreement with Eurowings, the Lufthansa Group’s low cost airline covering part of the airline’s CFM56-5B fleet. All work under the new agreement will be completed at SR Technics Zurich Airport facility and includes airfoils repairs in SR Technics’ Cork, Ireland facility and the full parts and material management for more than 30 engines.

ST Engineering has announced that its Aerospace sector has signed an agreement to provide CFM56-7B engine MRO services for the Boeing 737NGs belonging to Jet Airways and its subsidiary, JetLite. This agreement is an add-on to an earlier contract announced on 18 June 2015 which initially covers only a portion of the airlines’ 737NG fleet. With the latest agreement, Jet Airways’ and JetLite’s entire fleet of 80 737NGs will be covered, upping the contract value from the initial $350 million to a total of about $700 million.

 

As part of the contract, ST Engineering will provide an integrated suite of engine MRO solutions, including off-wing engine maintenance support, on-wing services as well as technical support. These services will be provided over a period of six years starting from 2019 at ST Engineering’s engine MRO facilities located in Singapore and Xiamen, China.
