CFM International and Indian airline Vistara have signed a long-term Rate Per Flight Hour (RPFH) agreement for the maintenance of 120 LEAP-1A engines that power 60 Airbus A320neo and A321neo aircraft in service or in order.

Delta TechOps and Austrian Airlines have signed an exclusive agreement covering Pratt & Whitney PW4060 engine maintenance for up to six-years to support the airline's Boeing 767 fleet.

Lufthansa Technik Malta has started to carry out technical services on the Airbus A350. A first aircraft, an Airbus A350-1000 from an undisclosed customer, received a cabin modification in September. The first A350-900 was expected in October for a C check. So far, three international carriers, amongst them Air Mauritius, have signed MRO contracts for the A350 family with Lufthansa Technik Malta.

Rolls-Royce and Delta Air Lines have extended a Trent 7000 TotalCare agreement to add a further two A330neo aircraft. The two additional aircraft will take Delta’s A330neo fleet to 37. Delta TechOps will be responsible for performing the MRO work.

SR Technics has been awarded a seven-year exclusive engine maintenance contract with Ukraine International Airlines. The agreement covers a minimum of 34 CFM56-7B shop visits. Meanwhile, work began on the first engine in the SR Technics engine shop in Zurich in August of this year, following three trial shop visits performed earlier this year.

StandardAero has recently signed an exclusive long-term contract with Silver Airways for Pratt & Whitney PW127M engine support for the airline’s fleet of ATR 42-600 regional turboprops, including responsive overhaul-level support from StandardAero’s Summerside, PE, Canada location. In addition, Silver Airways will benefit from access to StandardAero’s North American network of service centres and mobile repair teams (MRTs). It will also be supporting the airline with engine condition trend monitoring (ECTM) services.
