AFI KLM E&M and Atlas Air have signed a component support contract for the US carrier's fleet of Boeing 747-400s. The agreement covers flight hour closed loop repair services taking in close to 600 part numbers, along with exchange solutions where necessary.



AFI KLM E&M and Virgin Australia Airlines have signed a component support contract for the carrier's five-strong fleet of Boeing 777-300ERs. The agreement covers flight-hour repairs, access to the spares pool, and provision of an on-site stock at Los Angeles.



AFI KLM E&M has entered into an exclusive maintenance agreement with Viva Air Group, a low cost airline based in Colombia and Peru, that includes the support of airframe components and logistical services. The component support agreement takes advantage of AFI KLM E&M’s strategic location in the Americas through its Miami-based subsidiary, Barfield, as well as its component and logistical expertise.



AFI KLM E&M has signed a component support contract with Surinam Airways covering the Boeing 737-700 fleet. The contract covers the two aircraft currently operated by the airline, along with a third, scheduled to join the carrier's fleet in 2020. It covers repairs, pool access and supply of a Main Base Kit (MBK), delivered under the 737NG Component Services Program (CSP) jointly operated by AFI KLM E&M and Boeing.



AJW Group has signed a Pool Access Agreement with private and business jet aviation services provider, TAG Aviation. The contract covers a Boeing 757 aircraft, which is operated in a VIP configuration offering round-the-world tours. The news marks the extension of an existing relationship between TAG Aviation and AJW Group, with the lease of a flyaway kit already in place.



Barfield has entered into a long-term maintenance agreement with AerFin Limited to cover the repair of regional and single aisle commercial aircraft components. Under this new agreement, Barfield facilities in Atlanta and Miami will provide support for approximately 170 component part numbers. Today, AerFin already utilises AFI KLM E&M's facilities in Europe. Working with Barfield in the Americas is a natural extension to that relationship.



Barfield, a subsidiary of AFI KLM E&M,has announced that it has entered into a long term agreement with Spairliners to provide component repairs to support the Spairliners Embraer E-Jet fleet. The agreement, effective immediately, comprises in-house repair services of Line Replaceable Units currently performed by Spairliners' MRO shareholders AFI KLM E&M as well as Lufthansa Technik. Barfield will serve as the newest addition to Spairliners MRO portfolio and thereby further solidifying their capabilities and presence in the Americas. The components will be repaired and overhauled at their local repair facilities, specifically Atlanta, GA and Miami, FL.



BP Aero and AerFin have agreed to a new long-term engine support contract. The contract will support CFM56 and CF34 engine part overhaul at BP Aero’s facilities in in Irving, TX. Attention will be paid to repairing Aerfin’s extensive inventory of CF34 parts, in order to meet ongoing industry demand.



Collins Aerospace Systems has been awarded a 10-year support agreement by All Nippon Airways (ANA) for its fleet of Boeing 787-8, 787-9 and new 787-10 aircraft. The long-term maintenance agreement features Collins Aerospace’s FlightSense programme, which the airline has been a customer of for the past decade. Under the terms of the agreement, Collins Aerospace will guarantee availability of assets, through access to a global distribution network, enabling minimised aircraft downtime.



Collins Aerospace Systems has signed a 10-year exclusive nacelle MRO services support agreement with Spanish carrier Air Europa for the Boeing 787, including lease/exchange services. This long-term agreement extends an existing 10-year service agreement between the two companies where Collins Aerospace will carry on supporting the Airbus A330, ATR 72, Boeing 737 and Embraer E195 fleets operated by Air Europa and Air Europa Express.
