AerData has signed an agreement to provide Etihad Airways and its equity partner airlines with its Secure Technical Records for Electronic Asset Management (STREAM) software. The agreement paves the way for Etihad Airways and its airline partners to operate exclusively with digital aircraft records, enabling each airline and the group as a whole to enhance daily operations and facilitate more efficient aircraft transfers. The airlines included under the contract are Etihad Airways, airberlin, Niki, Belair, Air Serbia, Air Seychelles, Alitalia, Jet Airways, and Swiss-based Darwin Airline, trading as Etihad Regional.

Commsoft has been selected by Pionair, the Australian air charter and air freight specialists, to provide its OASES MRO IT system to support the three BAe 146-200 regional airliners it will be using for its new airline freight operations. To allow for scalability, the system is structured in a modular format and for its new operations, Pionair has selected the Core, Airworthiness, Planning and Materials modules. Warranty and Line Maintenance modules may be added at a later stage. The system will be hosted on Commsoft’s OASES Private Cloud service. (See MRO Management, September 2016 for a feature on OASES).

Swiss-AviationSoftware has been selected by Belavia - Belarusian Airlines to provide its AMOS MRO software. The implementation project will start in September 2016 with a series of workshops and training sessions. The Go-Live target date is July 2017. Thereafter, Belavia will fully manage a fleet of 16 Boeing 737s, four Bombardier CRJs and four Embraer E-Jets in AMOS.
