Commsoft has been selected by Wingbox Aviation of the Philippines to supply its OASES MRO IT system in support of over 130 aviation operations in more than 55 different countries. Wingbox Aviation has contracted for the Core, Airworthiness, Planning, Materials and Line Maintenance Control modules. Wingbox Aviation has also opted to access the modules through Commsoft’s private cloud service, avoiding the need to install any additional hardware.

Monarch Aircraft Engineering Limited (MAEL) has implemented a new competency-based system with the ELMS Aviation application. Using the cloud-based software system will provide MAEL (a Part 145 and Part M approved organisation) with an enhanced solution to better manage competence and compliance of its staff. Having the ELMS Aviation application allows all engineers working in maintenance and continuing airworthiness to build a complete profile of their competence, in accordance with EASA regulations and industry best practice.

Swiss AviationSoftware has signed contracts for its AMOS MRO Edition software that will contribute to work scope expansion as well as the digitalisation strategy of ENGINEERING Holding, S7 ENGINEERING, Sibir Technics and Cyprus Airways. Using the AMOS Financial Multi Entity functions, the MRO organisations of the group will work within the same AMOS environment and benefit from synergies due to common processes and integrated transactions between the entities. Cyprus Airways will have its own AMOS environment under the group umbrella agreement as the processes and business needs of the airline differ from those of the MRO providers. Charlie Airlines (set up by S7 Airlines) acquired the rights to use the trademarks and brand of the former flag carrier Cyprus Airways in July 2016.

The AMOS MRO Edition was issued with AMOS Release 12 in November 2017. The new business functions that have been added to AMOS, such as Facility/Hangar Planning, Ground-time Management, Finance Control Dashboards, CRM and in-depth Quotation/Contract Management will assist the aviation group in serving its large customer base. Many of the group’s clients are already AMOS customers.
